Wolves or Knicks: Who won the trade?
The biggest question on my mind after the trade that sent KAT to the Knicks and Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to the Wolves was who won that trade.
On paper, it’s a very even trade that benefits both squads equally, with their records also supporting that notion, with the Knicks being in third place in the east with a 9-6 record and the Wolves hogging 10th with an 8-7 record.
But beyond all of the above reasons for why neither team lost or won the trade, I would argue it may have been the most fair trade I have seen in recent memory.
KAT leads his team in points, rebounds, and blocks, and Julius Randle has quickly become one of their most valuable assets and is second on the Wolves in points.
In addition, Donte DiVincenzo is 6th on the team in points off the bench and continues his trend of being a walking 3-point getter. Julius Randle has already sealed a game against the Suns with a clutch three and, in the same game, started the comeback with his three-point ability.
For KAT, he has added much-needed height and, along with Bridges, took a lot of pressure off the other stars and allowed for better rotations.
Well done by both organizations!
